How Long Does It Take To Build It?

The time it takes to go ‘live’ with your new custom website depends on a number of factors, like the availability of copy and content (actual words on the page and other forms of multimedia, respectively), the number and complexity of added elements (like forms, flash animations, layout variations, and whatnot), and the overall size of the website itself. Ready-to-go, unique pre-fab works (not templates) with no added features can be completed within days. Fully custom works started fresh usually take between one to two weeks to complete. Special considerations with respect to rush orders are made on a case-by-case basis and do incur additional fees. Speak with an EtherJungle.com rep today to learn more.
Some things you can do to help expedite the construction of your website is to have all the copy and content of your site ready, organized, and available at the start of the project. Materials should be collected and organized during the consultation phase of your project and should be sent out to the web developer immediately after contracting the work. Also, a well-developed, clear concept, complete with color scheme, marketing tact, intended target audience, and a site/page copy outlining will dramatically bring about a quicker project turnaround.
Please keep in mind, however, that more elaborate websites take time and will most often not be contracted with a completion date. These projects will be contracted according to work elements completed. These elements will be clearly defined in the contract and provide an easy means by which the progress of the project may be tracked.
